About me

I live and fish on the edge of Snowdonia National Park in North Wales. I love it here, the scenery and fishing is brilliant.

With access to several miles of river and 5 wild upland lakes (with boats on 3) I can offer a range of fishing activities to suit all levels of experience.

My passion is wild brown trout fishing but I also enjoy saltwater fly fishing for bass, mullet, mackerel and pollock. I am passionate about conserving fish stocks in our rivers and I’m a trade member of the Wild Trout Trust.

My work with Fishing for Forces allows me to give a little something
back to service personnel returning from war zones.

I am a qualified AAPGAI (Association of Advanced Professional
Game Angling Instructors) instructor, a licensed UKCC game
angling coach and SCUK coach educator and assessor. I work
with the Angling Development Board and the Federation of Welsh
Anglers to introduce the UKCC angling coaching awards into Wales.
I am also a fly fishing guide, fishing the wild rivers and lakes in and
around Snowdonia. Fresh water fly fishing isn't just for trout, salmon
and sea trout. Out of season as well rainbow trout on stocked
lakes grayling, perch, pike and a number of other species provide
great sport on the fly.
