River Severn Angling Workshop

The Environment Agency would like to invite a representative, or two, to one of the series of workshops being run along the River Severn.   The aims of the workshops are to give Angling Clubs and Fisheries the chance to find out what’s happening within a number of angling related organisations, including the Environment Agency, and projects along the river.

We have a number of speakers who are going to give presentations on:

  • Access / Disability Discrimination Act ( DDA )
  • Severn River Trust
  • GHOF/YAP/Coaching Events
  • Funding Opportunities
  • And also an opportunity to ask questions and talk to your local Fisheries Team

The workshops will run from 10.00 to 16:30, with tea and coffee available from 9:30. We have 50 places available at each workshop on a first come first served basis.   If you would like to attend please contact Joan Allen for  an application form  and this together with map and agenda, will be sent to you in the post.

The workshops are taking place at:

  • Welshpool in the Town Hall on Saturday the 31st   January 2009
  • Tewksbury in the Gupshill Manor on Saturday the 7th February 2009
  • Bewdley in the Bewdley Baptist Church on Saturday the 14th March 2009
