Well My Way is finally floating once again with a new lick of paint and full engine service ready to catch some fish, get all dirty and smelly for another year.
Last weekend should have been our first fishing adventure this year, sadly the strong NW winds cancelled Fri, Sat and Sun for us.
However things are looking brighter for this weekend as the high pressure continues and the settled spell remains. It is short notice however owing to recent cancellations we have 4 places available for Saturday if anyone is interested. It’s a big tide, so the fishing will be inshore both anchor and drift – what’s biting? Not sure sorry, but at a guess for the time of year and the settled week we’ve had so far, I’d suggest dogs, whiting, dabs, pollack, coalies, huss maybe a few straps and some other bits and pieces …. nothing too electrifying, but plenty of fish I’m sure.
The price is £40 and includes bait along with my world famous chillie and also a slice of cake. Well it is a lad called Geoffs birthday and I don’t want to see him cry.
