Trout and Salmon invites you to a unique three-day sea-trout fishing course on the UK’s most prolific sea-trout river in the company of Wales’s finest sea-trout guides
It doesn’t get much better than this. Trout and Salmon is offering nine readers the chance to join three leading  Sea-trout experts on the best beat of the famous River Towy in Wales. those who have fished this river before will know its incredible track record for producing huge sea-trout. Last year – despite high water – golden grove reported 487 sewin. ninety-four of these were more than 5 lb and there were a number of very big fish; 21 lb; 17 lb; 15 lb 10 oz, 13 lb; 12 lb; 10 lb 8 oz; 10 lb 4 oz and 10 lb. The guides – Illtyd Griffiths, Tony Davies and Steffan Jones – are the best in their field. They will each guide three anglers per night, teaching them the techniques, fly choice and watercraft necessary to grass the sea-trout of a lifetime. The date of the course is July 5-8, 2009. Fishing will be at night (from dusk until dawn for those who wish to stay out all night) after which you will return to the Plough Inn at Rhosmaen, Llandeilo, your accommodation. for the duration of the course. Here you will have breakfasts and evening meals and catch up on lost sleep (lunches not included). The cost of the course is £715 per rod.

The holiday includes
Three nights’ guided night fishing on the River Towy at Golden Grove from Sunday, July 5 to Wednesday, July 8, including night fishing on Sunday and a morning departure from The Plough after breakfast on Wednesday.
