In addition to guiding my qualifications enable me to teach newcomers to fly casting and also help more experienced anglers iron out casting faults. I also have child awareness training and I am CRB checked for working with children. I coach on a wide range of waters whether it be small stocked lakes for rainbow trout fishing or the big waters. Close to my home near Mold there are a number of excellent small stillwaters where I can teach you fly fishing.
In addition to teaching fly casting I run a guiding and holiday business aimed specifically at wild brown trout fishing. We are blessed with excellent wild waters in North Wales and the emphasis of my short breaks and holidays are on wild fish. I put together an itinerary based on your needs and arrange the accommodation and guiding. I have considerable experience of traditional loch-style boat fishing and can take you on the excellent waters around Snowdonia. I also arrange breaks in other parts of the UK and I have my own 15’ fly fishing boat.

Many of my customers enjoy short breaks learning about wild trout fishing in beautiful surroundings and I provide gift vouchers for presents and special occasions.
Special events for corporate customers or stag weekends are also catered for and I can arrange one-off “adventures” fishing in remote parts of the UK and abroad. Big parties can be catered for as I work closely with other qualified instructors.
