2005 season starts March the 20th, and finishes on October the 17th.
Day permits are not available.
Season permits prices are, £105 for adults, and £60 for juniors.
Fishery record: 18lb 4oz rainbow trout.
Lake is stocked with rainbow and brown trout once a month through the season.
The size of the trout range from 2½lb - 14lb.
No rainbow trout smaller than 2½lb stocked.
Competitions are held on the first Saturday of every month.
Best flies: Cats whisker, buzzers, and Daddy Longlegs.
Season permits for Glyncornel lake also include fishing a 10 mile stretch of the River Rhondda, where brown trout are also stocked regularly, along with fishing at Darran Park Lake, which is course fishing only.
Glyncornel Lake is situated within Rhondda's only nature reserve at the North end of Tonypandy, adjacent to the County Court building.
