Further information about Pike fishing in Wales
The PAC is organised into Regional Associations, usually centred on a town or borough. There are around 70 RA's run by experienced pike anglers. The RA's have a varied membership of both experienced and inexperienced anglers. Each RA holds regular very informal and sociable meetings to discuss piking. Special trips and events may also be arranged, mainly to benefit new members. Your Local RA is the place to get a great start for your pike fishing.

The Pike Anglers' Club of Great Britain
The Pike Anglers' Club of Great Britain was formed in 1977 as a direct result of changing attitudes toward pike. For far too long pike had been regarded by fishery owners and some anglers as vermin, to be killed and removed at all costs. Since it's inception, the PAC has done much to drastically change this mistaken attitude and pike are now widely regarded as a positive element in the natural balance of any fishery.
